Xbox Gaming Leagues is here to provide a clan gaming league with an experience where they can compete to a good standard and be at a place where clans of a casual nature with a competitive edge can come compete with similar minded clans. We currently cater for clans on the Call of Duty series but may expand to other titles as an when required, We provide leagues to offer a variety for clans whether they compete on the CORE or HARDCORE modes on the Call of Duty Series thier is something for anyone here. XGL have had a great history in hosting great clan tournaments over the years and now we aim to add to that with hosting a great clan league.
Our Leagues will begin thier first season on Call of Duty: Black Ops before progressing to Call of Duty: MW3 for thier second season the plan is to get noticed and invite the right clans to our leagues as season 1 will be by invitation only so your clans reputation will be important when it comes to these leagues as with the right clans competing the leagues can go far. We would like to have an admin council to administer the league that would comprise of leaders/members of the competing clans so that we can provide the best possible experience in a clan league so watch out for any invitations.
THE LEAGUES
Hardcore Search & Destroy League (HC-SND) is our main headline league and is based on the Hardcore SND mode found in Call of Duty: Black Ops. This League is 6v6 and the best of 5 maps with the first to 4 rounds, thier is a round switch every round to provide a competitive edge to the league and for each fixture clans have 2 map selections each with the league selecting the decider map, for each weekly fixture the map selections in the league comprises of the maps on the disc and also all available map packs.
Hardcore SND Endurance League (SND-E) is our main next league and is based on the Hardcore SND mode found in Call of Duty: Black Ops but with adjustments by the league. This League is 6v6 and the best of 3 maps with the first to 8 rounds, thier is a round switch every 4 rounds to provide a more relaxed edge to the league focusing more on tactics and positioning providing a more enduring experience. for each fixture clans have 1 map selection each with the league selecting the decider map, for each weekly fixture the map selections in the league comprises of the maps on the disc and also all available map packs.
CORE Team Deathmatch League (CORE-TDM) is our only CORE based league and is based on the CORE TDM mode found in Call of Duty: Black Ops. This League is 5v5 and is the best of 3 maps with the kill count up to 10,000 kills and a 10 minute time limit this league should become a league that showcases the true killing spirit in TDM matches. for each fixture clans have 1 map selection each with the league selecting the decider map, for each weekly fixture the map selections in the league comprises of the maps on the disc and also all available map packs.
These leagues should provide a great first season and help us find our feet to ensure our following season on Call of Duty: MW3 can be the best it can be.
