Tournaments
Now I've thought about hosting some tournaments, but this can get very expensive. Thus maybe XLC could charge a certain fee, I guessing Gamebattles.com does? Not quite sure... I think it would be cool like for instance the clan winner gets 80% earnings and 20% goes toward XLC. What do you think would be a fair price members?

By the way does Gamebattles charge for leagues?

I think that would definitely help create more activity and fund some money for the monthly prizes. Hmmm, I'm going to ponder on this more. Anyone have any ideas, don't be afraid to post!

i dont think i would pay to be in a tournament...but i understand the dilemma of not making enough money for the site....idk wat to do about that

i would support the idea but i don't like that i have to get my moms credit card and use it to get in a tournament (which she probably wouldn't let me do anyways) and it matters how much it is $2 $5 $10 $20?????

Well it depends think about it!

If you have a clan that has around 8 gamers or so and XLC chargers $40 per clan, that's $5 dollars a piece. Have around 35 teams that enter. Winning clan gets $1000.

Or XLC could do a single gamer tournament like deathmatch and charge $5. 50 gamers enter, winner gets $200.

Gamebattles is free, and that's the way it should be.
I wouldn't pay to be in a Tournament, even if the prize money is 1 grand.
It's a really good idea, but like I said, it should be free.
We just need to get money for this site. I'd suggest more ads. 2 little ads on the forums just isn't enough.

You can go to your local grocery store or walmart and get a pre-paid credit card. You can also keep adding money to it after you use all the funds on it....
