I would be willing to pay. I think its a great idea. Just host different tourneys like once a month or something. I'm always willing to make money for doing something fun, and even if you loose......you had fun loosing your money! The only thing i wouldnt like is getting in a battle with/against a bunch of immature kids, thats something i hate the most!

That's what I thought!
It doesn't even have to $40, we could do something like $20 out of 36 Clans
first place gets $350, 2nd place gets $250. I think it's a great idea for the more hardcore gamers. I think it could really work out, because we have how many clans on here already, ya know... XLC needs to get something going I know that! The monthly prizes weren't doing much.
I'm just thinking on how I could moderate the tournaments, I'd have to appoint some of you guys to help me out. You'd have to be really honest gamers....

Well I did notice that they only have cash prizes in only a few tournaments.
I'm not sure, it's just one of those things ya know, some gamers might pay some might not. I think it might be worth a try...
But it's like I said the moderating is the hard part, we'd have to do some sort of honor code. If you do anything bad, you would be banned from the tournaments and site permanently.

Its up to you. Anything is worth a try. I still think advertising the event is important.

I believe if you do host a tournament where money is involved you could do it like once a month or something. It's not going to be a bad thing......just think, there may be those few people that need the money that are good at gaming. I also think that you should take more out of the total prize and use it for the site. I mean think about it. If you enter a tourney for $5 and have a chance at earning more then 300% of that, it's more then worth it! The other no one will even miss it. I think it should be like a 70/30 or 65/35 or something like that......

What do you guys think about the statistics though, I'm thinking each clan leader would have to report back to xboxliveclans.com to let me know who won. I could moderate the games, but it would be almost impossible to moderate all the games if 36 clans joined???

That's cool. I will report a loss and a win. I'll even try to report more then that if you would like. Like kills, deaths, sprees, medals, and shot percentage......but it's up to you as to what i send...

Maybe we could do something like the 3 for each little series and then the final game could be best of 5......how does that sound? I can keep track of most of kills and medals on bungie.net for the players on my side and my oponents...
