Xbox Live Clans

Hi All,

I would like to start our second program to reward our member. Just post in the forum and get a chance to win a "Xbox 360 Live 3 Month Gold Card" or "Xbox 360 Live 1600 Points". every month. You choose the prize.

Here are the rules:

0. Program will start in February, 2008.
1. Must be XLC registered member to win.
2. Only members with 20 or more posts in the same month are eligible to win the prize.
3. Every month, 2 winners will be picked from all eligible members and email and PM will be sent to winner in the first week of the month. The winner's name also will be posted in the forum.
4. If the winner did not pick the prize within 5 days, I will pick next winner.
5. Once winner received prize, It is required to reponse to the forum in designated thread.
6. The winner need send me his/her shipping address and full name. PM is fine.
7. I reserve the right to change the program any time. Please send me your feedback if there is any.

I agree with you. Threads are meant for informing people about something, not for screwing around.

To stray a little off topic....I remember that last month XLC was getting hit by a bunch of spammers and they were posting a bunch of rediculous threads about advertisements. Not just one thread, but about 5 or 6 of the same threads.

Thank you for the information. I will look into it. Please report the SPAM post if you see them.

Here is the process which I followed to pick monthly winner:
1. Search all the members who has posts > 20 and last activity after 01/01/2008.
2. Print out and cut the name to pieces and put in a pot, my 3 years old son random pick 2 names as winners.
3. Record all the post count for above members as base point. For next month, only members who have more than 20 post in the same month will eligible for the prize.
4. For most of the members, they don't care about the prize but I would like to use this way to reward our members. If we are successful on upcoming tournament, I may roll the prize to the tournament as well.

Oh,we do care about the prizes,it's just a point that some of the guys on here would really appreciate a points card,or 3 months live because they have to save hard to buy them.
A points card would benefit my son because that way I don't have to buy it for him!
No,if a member wins,then good.They,whoever they are,should appreciate the fact that your willing to put in the time and money to do this.

I dont care bout the prize! I have been a member here for a while my other log in was MoB Corleone and I have seen this site grow and I hope it will just get bigger.
