Xbox Live Clans

We have had 1,534 xbox gamers join XLC, imagine if all of those members stayed active and kept up the participation with challenging clans and having tournaments...etc...we would have one hell of a forum!!!!

The site has only been around for 10 months, I think we have made great progress on collecting more gamers on here. But, just imagine if 70% of those gamers would of stayed active. Just imagine, that's all I have to say. I hope some of the members will stay active for the future, I think this would really help out everyone in the long run. You'd Be able to meet more gamers/clans and learn more in general about the xbox.

But hey, I can't complain. I still think the site is doing pretty good for it's first year.

I plan on staying active on this site and I hope more people will aswell

Great to see you enjoying it, if only more people would come back to visit from time to time we could really make something of it.

I'm on almost every day reading the forums just not much in the way of stimulating conversation as of late so no need to put my two cents in. I still love the site.

ill try and stay active, but there a lot of times where theres nothing interesting going on.....nowadays its all the clans posting about how good they are and that everyone should want to join them, or else their trying to find out if any other clans would DARE to play them.....i liked the idea of having a clan forum area and a 'regular' forum area but it doesnt seem to have worked out all that well.....anyway, thats just my input, ill still visit the site often....just dont know if ill post as much

Yes, totally understand your opinion and agree with you. A lot of the gamers that register are more likely to participate in the clan section. But, I see gamebattles.com doing good, yeah they have like a million members, but I still think if a lot more gamers became more involved we would have a very successful forum that would benefit the gamers just like gamebattles. I mean with 5-10 new members registering a day, we could really have sweet forum. Thus, I thought making this post would help gamers realize this.

I do appreciate you diehards keeping up with everything, it's great just having you guys on here even if not a lot of members participate

I think it is a lack of features and things to bring gamers back.

Gamebattles.com is a massive site, but it covers all games platforms. If this site keeps it's current features, the numbers will continue to fall. Even your die-hard members are saying what I am saying, and that is "there is nothing of interest here now"

This site has the potential to be big, but there are already websites out there going for the same gamers, and they have their head screwed on.

Good luck increasing activity, but this topic will not increase activity. Its a fact.

Yes and No, there's a lot of successful forums out there that aren't owned by corporations(The Man.) and lack a lot of features. Some of the biggest sites on the internet are just forums. Updated news and features do help to create a great active forum, but this site(bigboards) justifies that you do not need a very flashly site with news and features to have a successful forum. Check'em out yourself link. Yes we are lacking in many ways compared to Gamebattles.com, have to understand that I don't do this for a living. This is a site kept up by a gamer just like you.

I just think if some of the members stayed a little active, it would help the forum take off. I don't mean everyday, just come back once a week or so.
Maybe if some of the clans stayed more active too, I think that would bring a lot more to the table.

I think some things are out of my hands...
