That is true and fine. But what doesn't give me great satisfaction and encouragement is when developers hold off levels, content that should have been introduced and included with the game when it is originally released. I'm specifically talking about how developers are putting out the bare minimum, even developers who start working on DLC before the game has even gone gold. That's bullshit!
There's nothing wrong with DLC coming out for a game like Halo. The developers invest an ample sum of time into developing the game, and it's a quality product. However...
Wait. So from what you are saying, it is ok to be charged additional fees for those cars and songs that should have been included in the package to begin with?
From the implication of your statement, I'd wait 2-3 months longer just to be assured that my game won't have a vast array of
bugs.... It is a quite commonality in a lot of the games this generation.
Yeah, you're right, and that's completely
STUPID. That's like going with Xbox 360 and adding a HDDVD drive, Wi-Fi and all the other gimmicks and gadgets just so that it can match up with PlayStation 3.... and the only problem is that it costs a lot more than what the standard retail price of PS3 would cost.
STUPID!
Someone needs to take an Economics class or something.
