im with comcast and i have a motorola modem wit a a wireless 6 broadband router
im jus havin problems hookin xbox live
ive got all the way to isp= confirmed but when it comes to DSN it says failed

any easy help?????

Make sure the wireless router you are using is one of the ones listed as compatible on the Xbox website ( I ran into this problem). There is an extensive list of compatible items. Hope this helped. If not maybe someone else on the site could help...Good Luck

Are you using wireless connection or ethernet port? Did you make any changes in the router? sometimes the router will block certain ports..

I belive you should check the Ghz connection. Mine is 2.4 ghz and having something too high or too low will stop you from using it unless you have a direct line to it.

i got an iPhone and it uses the same IP adress as my computer so if you use them at the same time it messes up the internet in the house. If you have a phone or something like that, it could be causing problems.
