Somebody actually uploaded a virus onto one of their servers...that's why it's being gay right now. It's a little better now, but it's still not like it was before. They are working on the problem right now.
I seem to be having trouble too,so it's not a localised problem.
I need to re-start my xbox sometimes for it to take effect-then seems ok.
I do on occasion get "connection interupted" pop up on me,especially on cod4.....anyone else get this?

Don't forget that it is Holiday Season and all those new Xbox owners are firing up their new systems on already overworked servers! But I'm not sure what sounds worse for Micro$oft their inability to deal with a virus or their customer base!

I am experiencing the same crap and I have a cable modem.
I'm playing on a wireless broadband setup,but my problem is we have 2 xbox's in our house (me and my son's-he got his for xmas),so sometimes I think that could be the root of my problem.
Ironically enough,when I play against him the connection is still slow......must sort that out!

Microsoft needs to do a better job in fixing this problem. We are paying for LIVE and are not getting what we paid for. We are getting crappy servers to play on and I don't like it one bit.
That is microsoft, love it , hate it but you have to deal with it..I bought a Zune for $250 and now you can get same one under $100 and it is a crappie player compare with video Ipod..
