I have the answer!!!

I was wondering about the same thing when I got my 360 hooked up to LIVE. I had the same router problem. It's quite an easy solution...all you do is unplug your computer from your router and connect your 360 cable into the router.

You don't need a computer hooked up to go on LIVE.

The best solution is :
1. Buy a wireless router about $40.
2. Connect your wireless router WAN port to the Ethernet port on your modem and follow the instruction from your router to configure your router. It should be very easy.
3. Connect your computer to the router's LAN port.
4. For Xbox, you can either connect to another LAN port on your router or you get buy a wireless adapter for your XBOX so you can play it any where..

I hope this helps..

You need a Cable/DSL Router. You can go wireless or wired. I personally opted for the cheaper (and in my opinion more secure) wired version. You will need to do some homework and find the solution that is best for you. The XBox website explains your options in detail.

Just get a router or you can disconnect the ethernet cable from the computer and plug it to your xbox
