The very newest Xbox 360s have Jasper chips — a tech that promises to end the dreaded Red Ring of Death forever. But does it work? And how do you identify a Jasper 360?
Microsoft started shipping the 360 equipped with the Jasper motherboard in November 2008. It has a much bigger heatsink for a smaller CPU. Microsoft is betting this will end the RROD that has plagued the Xenon motherboard.
