Same with me.....never saw the inside of one before.....It's all good, if my xbox runs hot or whatever it's not gonna bother me that much, I'm covered for 3 years. I'm not taking any chances! But i dont know too much about the difference in the 2 systems besides the elite is black and it has a HDMI hook up. Is there anything other then that different?

yes. They made the power brick smaller, it is quieter and comes with black accessories and 120 gb HD
