XBOX 360 LIVE FREE? i have heard it has been announced that because Bill gates has slipped down to 3rd richest man and he has had so much competition from the Wii and PS3 he has decided to make live free to get more live members. i don't know when but i am almost certain . i would love to hear your opinions , facts and views on this

that would be so awesome if xboxlive memberships were free and i do like how ps3 is free because you can make like 20 accounts and were did you read that it might be free
Microsoft reports that there are more than 10M xbox live members and most of them are gold members which brings almost 500M cash to Microsoft. In our forum, we have almost 4300 members with xbox live gametag and 4000 are gold member..Do you think Microsoft will easily give away such a big revenue? Who is going to pay to support and improve their huge and already crape online system?

I do not believe this. Bill Gates is a money grubbing asshat in my opinion. Live will maybe be free in three years.... but I do not think it will be anytime soon.

Yet another thread, on another forum about this. It's never going to happen! EVER! As much as i would love to save myself a little $$$$ every year. Anyone that believes this will happen even in a few years. You're fooling yourself. It may be something when the next gen systems hit in another 5-7 years, but not right now. They make way too much dough to give it up.
