going through comp for XL
i figured out how to go through my comp for xbox live except there is one problem. the only spot were i can plug my ethernet cable into is taken by my internet CABLE. so what do i do?

You can get a Router, It has about 5 plugins, plus one to connect it to the Modem. You use one to connect to your computer, another for your xbox 360.
