Xbox Live Clans

How do you you guys get such high gamer scores? Am i suppost to be playing certin games or something? I seem to play and play, but dont seem to be going up in this gamer score/points. Oh yeah, and what are they good for? Is there anything specific you can use the points for????

all i do is play the game until i beat it because most of the time the achivment that is worth the most is the one that says beat the game and if there are ones that need a little more work i just work towards that until i get it.

Is there any way to tell which ones you have and dont have? I really dont play that mant games, so i'm kinda green with this issue.......

also the best games to get achivement points in are shooters because most of the achivement are getting a certain amount of kills.

ya just when you first login to xbox live click on your game card and then there is the a list of options and one is vew games. it list all of the games you played and the achevments that you can get for them.

I noticed they have made it a lot harder to get gamerpoints now with some games.

See I beat some of the first 360 games to come out and that gave me some good amount of points. Two off the top of my head were Call of Duty2 and Need for Speed Most Wanted, both 1000

gamerscore has nothing to do with skill so i dont worry about it...but if you want a lot of points, well then you gotta get a lot of games

You select a achievement and it says how to get it ( unless it is a secret achievement in that case i go to Achieve360points.com to see how to get it) you do what it says, and there you got a achievement!

EX: one of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07 achievements is called "Getting the Hang of it" you select it and it says "Win 5 online matches" so you go and win five matches online and you add 15 points to your overall gamerscore. (gamerscore doesn't do anything except show what you have accomplished)

P.S. you cant get achievements for Xbox games only 360 games, and i get a lot of gamerscore by just by do what they say to do and practicing.
