I think your problem here is that, everyone signs up to post in the recruitment section of the forums. Maybe if there was a certain amount of posts required to post in that section of the forums then the forums would be more active and the recruitment threads wouldn't be so spammed of 1 posts members.

If you see three red lights around the power button on your Xbox it basically means the box is screwed ( will no longer function). You never want to see it but you probably will.

The Ring of death is the one you don't want see cause when you do you are ether out of more money on getting another system or your not if your system ic cover by mircrosoft I had a warranty it save me alot. I hope I never see it Again cause I will go CRAZY if I see it again FROM me to all game get a WARRANTY or if you have then GOOD for those that don't PLEASE BUY one for if you Don't and you see the RING OF DEATH you will know what it means.

Yes, 3 times before i bought a new Xbox, i kept sending the old one in but it would work for a week or two then it would die again,

I myself, have not. However I do have a couple of buddies with the arcade Xbox 360. One has had it 6 times and the other twice. I have the middle level xbox and I haven't. Just wondering if anyone knew if that could be a reason.

Nope you are just lucky. I bought top shelf still broke. The new mother board named " Jasper " is supposed to be the answer. a dedicated GPU heatpipe moves heat away from the GPU entirely.
Even the post-RROD- repair GPU heatsink is small compared to the new one in the Jasper.
Xboxes manufactured in November 2008 or later most likely have the Jasper.

it happened to my PRO last year... It was Christmas eve and my brother was playing the 360 when, it just freezes. He turns it off, then turns it back on...IT HAD THE RROD. The day after we got Rock Band 2 and couldn't play it, because we had a broken xbox 360...it was out of warranty, so we had to buy a new xbox 360.
