Does anyone know what i should do to get rid of the red ring of death

call up 1-800-4my-xbox, they will send you a shipping box for you to send your 360 to them to fix. they extended the warranty for the 360 to cover the red rings.

You can try the alternative method, the towel trick.

Though if you want to solve the problem completely, adhere to what pride said.

Towel trick? What towel trick?
I usually unplug all the cables 'cept for the ones going to the TV and plug them all back in again and it fixes it for a couple days...
Then I found out that the reason I've been getting it so often is because of my intercooler, I'm assuming something hapened to the wiring inside because the fans are still spinning and keeping it cool, but since I removed it, I think I've gotten the rings once in over a month

Yeah that would be your best bet. I had to send mine in twice the second time I got a refurb one. I miss my old 360.

I think the towel trick is a fire risk I would just call 1-800-4my-xbox they will send you a box you send it in they send it back fixed with a 1 month membership :)

does every cooler mess the 360? i have one that goes on the bottom of the 360 and is usb powered. barely cools so i dont think it over works the system....i use it because it glows neon green :D

I had red ring twice on my old xbox (original) and once on my 360!!!!! It is very very very very annoying getting that much times. They screwd up send the packaging to be sent to my home it was supposed to take 2 week. rang up and they said they did something wrong. took another 2 weeks to get packaging. then 2 weeks later i got my 360 back =s
