What do I do if my 360 is broken?

I don't know what the whole RROD thing is exactly. Because my power went out last night but I turned on my 360 just now and the 3 lights are flashing and I'm trying just about everything right now to see if it just needs to be reset. Doesn't look like it.

My 360 is 2 years and 5 months old (a 11/22/05 launch model). Am I still covered by Microsoft?

What am I supposed to do exactly? Do I call Microsoft now?

I am thinking that you have 3 red lights showing on your xbox, if that is the case don't mess with it as it will just make it worse.

Leave it call Microsoft, you should still be covered, and they will request for you to sent it to them and they fill either fix it or give you a new one. This is becasue it is not your fault that the red lights come on, it is due to the actual xbox going wrong.

It's been a while since I got my console back, but I never called in. I didn't feel like dealing with any asians, Indians or what have you (not that I am racist or anything). Anyway, it's really cool how it was very convenient to order the box and everything online via support.xbox.com
