halo 3 i was so dissapointed with, lack of change between 2 to 3. COD4 campaign unbelievable, specially end plus multiplayer nt bad 2. so cod4 better, but gears of war is better thn em all

Both great games. The online multiplayer of COD4 was crappy at first.. Too slow.. but the recent updates have made it awesome...Halo is the basis that all of these online multiplayer are made with. I think because of the lack of reality of H3. (not that juggernaught and Martydom are reaistic) hurts the game a little. I like the campagin of H3 better but overall COD4 is a more fun game to play..

I would definitely have to go with COD4. I read a lot of complaints about campers. But I believe there is a kill cam in COD4...that alone disregards the idea of fully camping, the opponent gets exposed of their position. Halo 3 has a poor radar system.

On top of that, Halo still has a mix of skilled and non skilled players. ie, shoot plus elbow combo still works, though not as effective as it did in Halo 2. COD4 requires more skill to get a kill. And I like the modes that COD4 has. I was truly disappointed in Halo 3 in that, 2 felt much better. (sorry for ranting man. :( )

COD4 got boring for me just because I played it on the pc. But it is still fun though, I'll play it occasionally on the 360.

To be perfectly honest, I believe both games are awesome in their own aspects. I suppose it all depends what you're looking for at the moment. Both games are classic, both games are shooters, and both games have a good storyline.

HOWEVER - The Call of Duty 4 storyline beat Halo 3 easily. The Halo 3 storyline was actually very good up until the end, which was basically Halo: Combat Evolved ending. Call of Duty does have a tendancy to get boring though after a few multiplayer games. For some reason, I can't get bored with Halo on multiplayer.
