Xbox Live Clans

Does anyone bother with giving rep to other gamers anymore?
I know when I first joined live,I used to check it quite often,but having not looked at it for months I thought I'd check it out.
There was no change in my stats,and I've played a lot of live games since!
Perhaps some people are only interested in giving negative rep?

Yeah people don't bother giving positive rep they only notice the bad thing you do and give negative rep. I never give bad rep to anyone as you cant connect to there games and it gives you less options of games to join.

ive gotten a lot of bad rep and very little good rep (I'm not some jerk that thinks im better than everyone).....sometimes the people on my friends list, send a message that theyve preferred me, so i do the same (if i havent already) This is basically what my rep looks like:

30% Aggresive
20% Unsporting
30% Quitting Early
30% Language
30% something else

i dont remeber exactly but still....

Aggresive: i guess i can see that, i dont like being shown up (but i dont go crazy)
Unsporting: not my thing....it IS just a game
Quitting: Ill admit i do quit often, but thats only because something comes up that i cant push off, i.e. being late to work
Language: i dont typically use my mike, only with friends and when i do use it, its to talk to someone about how to beat the other team

Me too,that's why I don't use my headset anymore unless I am playing with friends.

Haven't used that feature in a long, long time. I might use it if someone is really being a pest or nuisance. But, it takes a lot for that to happen, I don't mind a little shit talking. I think it's rather funny. It just pisses me off when people don't play the game right. It's like I didn't pay $60 for you to screw me over in my game, ya know...

The whole rep thing is used as nothing more than a weapon on Xbox Live.
I find that the best and worst players seem to attract the most attention and receive the most rep...usually negative.

I seem to fall into the "Potty mouth" category ( at least my son says I have a potty mouth). I do curse quite often under stress. But in my defense I am listed as underground and I usually am on games rated as mature. It isn't my fault parents let their 12 year olds play games they can't legally purchase. Cursing should be expected in a room full of adults.

I am in the same catagory as you regards potty mouthing,my son always moans at me for swearing.
