Xbox Live Clans

Hi Guys,

My nickname is spunky, and i've been playing first person shooters for years. mostly applied my trade on the PC and was hopefully seen as quite a handful on games like Quake and Unreal.

I recently decided to switch from PC to xbox360 and to see if i can be just as big a handful on xbox live. recently been playing abit of GRAW2 and really got the bug for it. Eagerly anticipating the arrival of COD4:Modern Warfare as i think the online gaming on that will be superb. I have thought about Halo but to be honest im more of a realism person, not a "shooting at moster's'" person.

Never really been in a clan before, usually play solo, but actually hoping that i do find/apply/or get approached to join a clan mainly for COD4, but happy to play other games too. So if your short of a clan member, shout this way!

Welcome to XLC!! sounds like youre a pretty seasoned gamer!...ive been trying to get my friends to make the switch but theyre to into PC games like Day of Defeat

anyway....i highly recommend Halo 3, its definatley not just shooting at monsters, it's a lot more fun (i wouldnt buy it either if it was shooting at monsters)

Great to have ya man! I have a friend I've been trying to convert for awhile, he's a big player of Urban Terror and COD on the PC. It's hard to get some of you PC guys to convert! COD4 is going to be a great game, I already reserved a copy. I actually thought the same about Halo before I played it, I'm not much of a fan of sci-fi games, but then I played it and absolutely loved it. Give it a try, I mainly play Multiplayer so it's really not shooting at monsters.

Sounds like im probably being a little bit harsh on Halo 3 without giving it a fair go. I think playing the single player mode on Halo 2 put me of the whole Halo franchise. But seeing as you both have highly recommended it i might aswell give it a chance.

its not very often that gamers do change from PC to Console for playing multiplayer games. but i think its using a mouse that really sells it for the PC, especially for a game like Command and Conquer which im also a huge fan of. but to be honest the conversion on that from PC to Console was done very well.

I dont think i would of changed if i hadn't seen my bro playing Resistance on the PS3, was very impressed, and seeing as i had an xbox360 i would see what xboxlive played like, and i was equally impressed.

definitely looking forward to COD4, i've had it pre-ordered for a few weeks now, but looks as though im gonna have to buy Halo 3 in the meantime!
