The WGL (
WGL) would like to invite your clan to take part in one (or all) of our many COD MW3 leagues.
The Warped Gaming League is the original, oldest and of course the largest XBOX 360 Gaming League in the UK. We are also the only league to have been invited to COD XP and the worldwide MW3 Launch party. It was at COD XP that we found out that Robert Bowling himself checks out the WGL every week and he even dropped by to our shoutbox to speak to our members one on one. We have also recently been made a full XBOX 360 Community Partner which means we get invited to many private events allowing us to bring exclusives to our members.
We also have a partnership with UK based XBOX 360 magazine 360Gamer who cover us every few days on their website and have a WGL section in their magazines every month that doesn't just talk about results but also talks about the clans who are taking part which means if you are recruiting we can get it in the magazine this will bring your clan into 3 million homes every mont
Apart from the leagues what else does the WGL bring you? We offer a betting feature that allows players to predict the outcome of each and every match and they win points for correct predictions. At the end of the season the top 3 predictors win some MS points!
We also have our very own wgl.tv channel which recently was made into a Youtube partner. Here you can watch all the latest and greatest matches.
Last but not least we offer a WGL Live service this was another first that the WGL brought to the UK xbox scene. Our live shows features player interviews, Intros and of course live action just as you would find if you were watching a live football match. This season we have another first where we will have a guest commentator in the way of fwiz (@fwiz) who is the top Machinima live broadcaster. We put all teams on our live shows not just the top teams so every team gets exposure and the thrill of the big night out.
All of this is possible due to the significant investment the WGL admins have put into our custom built site. A site that we are constantly investing in and improving with clan feedback and one that cant be rivaled by any other UK league.
So what leagues do we have on offer?
6v6 Mix Mode - This is a best of 5 Modes over 5 maps league which is the oldest and biggest COD league in Europe with over 450 matches played last season alone! This league has a mix of Hardcore and Core modes
6v6 SND - This league is based on Counter-strike as that is what SND is of course based on itself. So what does that mean? It means Half Health No regen, No Killstreaks and first to 8 rounds swapping every 4 rounds. This league quickly became the largest SND league in the UK in its first season!
HC SND - This league is straight up HC SND league that we launched to fill a gap in the community and again it quickly became the largest HC SND league in the UK
4v4 Core & 4v4 HC - These leagues are best of 3 maps either all on Core or all on Hardcore and are great for fun quick and exciting games. The 4v4 Core league has fast become one of the largest leagues the UK has ever seen!
Next season all of our COD leagues will have great prizes provided by SCUF gaming who make premier XBOX 360 Pads!
So how do I get involved?
Sign ups for all leagues open on our site on the 8th of November and close on the 19th and to take part all you need to do is get all your team signed up on our site and then hit the register button.

We ask that all teams have a website and that if you are taking part in a 6v6 league your roster size has a minimum of 9 people and maximum of 15. If you are taking part in our 4v4 leagues we ask that the minimum roster size is 6 and maximum 9!
