Watercooling Xbox 360

Have you ever had problems with an xbox over heating or getting the 3 lights of death ? some people have watercooled there xbox to solve this problem, Has anyone ever thought of doing this?

It looks well cool but would take a lot of knowledge to do it, i thought about doing it but i didnt want to spend all the money of the individual parts. plus if it ****s up say good by to the xbox as you loose warranty if the case is opened.

It also costs alot more then purchasing the three cooling fans from Radioshack. They work well and only cost about $30.00. The Red Ring comes from many different thing and heat is only one of them. My 360 went into service from the red ring and it didn't come from over heating since I hve the cooling unit. (The Fans).

I like the idea. I think Microsoft needs to overlook this as a future project

Btw, does anyone know if it is okay to use canned air on an Xbox?

You also have to think about the fact that if the system is not put in right, you could ruin your 360 for good, and as you said, you void the warrenty for opening it up like that.

I agree with D3LTA that this would be something for microsoft to think about in the future for the newer xboxs that come out to add this into it or even a better cooling system.

watercooling would be expensive but definately worth it... and canned air is fine aslong as you dont hold it upside down and blow the freezing liquid in there you should be fine lol but may i ask what u are trying to clean or cool?
