To Din De B0mb, that question has been answered several times in just this thread already........ but the answer is: No, they are not illegal.
I do agree that people who use them should be reported and banned. If firing your weapons was supposed to be done that fast without mastering the half-pressed-button technique descibed earlier, then the manufacturer would have made the game this way already. They did not, so stop cheating your way in getting those few extra kills please.
I myself like playing games the way they are supposed to be played, the way the manufacturer meant for them to be played. Using modded controllers and hacks gives people a dishonest advantage over those that DO play the game fair.
If you need the modded controller to get to that next level, then you are just not good enough. Stop lying to yourself and practise a little bit more to get to the next level.
And to all those that were involved in the "realize" vs. "realise" battle:
Both spellings of this word are allowed. Originally, people from the US are being taught to spell it with a "z", when most other English-speaking countries prefer the spelling with the "s".
There was no need for this discussion. If you feel that you have to correct other people, then please first make sure that you research the correct fact before you reply. I normally would not reply to any errors made, but I also feel that people who try to put other people down with that should be made aware of any errors in their own work as well.
