Yeah, I think I will do the same. HDMI doesnt do anything for me, so the hard drive is the only thing that I will buy. If I get tired of seeing a "white box" sitting by my tv, then I'll get a skin for it!

I think the xbox 360 elite looks awesome to. It does kind of piss me off that they didn't come out with a hardrive that big when the system first came out though. It sucks having to spend extra money on something i think should have come with the 360 in the first place. = (

I will probaly just buy the harddrive also, the black look does not appeal to me at all it is just like the original xbox
