Xbox Live Clans

This is a Mage's Guild Quest where at the end of it im supposed to go to a black soul gem alter and wait to watch a necromancer make a black soul gem but i waited by there for 5 days and he hasnt come by to do it. can someone help me. I dont know if i have to just restart the xbox and do it over again or what but sumone please help.
