Xbox Live Clans

Hey, I just got GTA IV for my xbox and am stuck on the 'Do you need protection?' level. That's the one where you need to go to the sex shop and intimidate the man and then go buy a gun. I've done both those things but it hasn't said I've bought a gun and so I'm driving around with Dimitry in my car and I can't do anything! Please Help!

I think it's awsome. After you get past a the first few boring taxi missions, it becomes an incredible game. It is about twice as good as any game i've ever played, including Halo 3, CoD 4, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Bioshock! If you ever get stuck on a mission, you can just go around playing darts and getting drunk, which means you never get bored. I think it's the best xbox game ever and that nothing will beat it for a very long time

I am going to be as honest as I can be with this. Solid game.. so far yes. The best ever? No. Not with these graphics (comparing it to other games). When labeling something the best or giving it a rating of 10 the whole picture must be taken into account. I like the game and have waisted many hours of my life playing it but there are glitches and shortcomings to the game. One quick example: My buddy ended up finding a cigar boat he had been driving to get to a mission in a parking space on the street when he needed transportation after a cut scene. These things should be taken into account. another thing is transitioning from running to climbing ladders ( up or down ) not a flowing motion..if you are attempting to get away or chase someone this is annoying. Shooting multiple targets is also choppy. The target locking system is not that great. The game could probably do without the locking system all together.
I can't possibly be the only player that has found some minor annoyances.. Please share your thoughts.

I think COD4 and Halo3 are solid.But GTA IV is 6 times as better,about the level restart the mission?Or if that don't work then [Kill] yourself and do it again.If that dosen't work do another couple of levels to give the game time to repair and then try again: lmao:: flamethrowingsmiley
