I've only played this online once and thought it was "messy".
Perhaps I was experiencing a bit of lag,but I'm willing to play again if there's enough interest.

I never tried TF2, only because people say that no one plays it. I loved portal though. Great game. Half Life is always classic. I can't believe the ending. Poor Alyx.
I'd never played any Half Life before this game but loved it none the less. Worth the money....it's like 5 games for the price of one. Totally worth it if you ask me.

Never played halflife prior to purchasing the orange box. Although it had it's moments, including the final battle, i thought the game left a lot to be desired, so i sold it. Played it online a couple of times, but the online play alone did not warrant me keeping it. Apparently, many people saw things this way bc the trade in credit at gamestop was unusually low so close to release.
I've always enjoyed half-life and this one was good as well. I think my enjoyment was lessened as I played it after CoD4, so my expectations were higher than they should have been. Still a fun game.
I was very stoked about TF2, as my first online play experience was with TFC. My first TF2 game was with a bunch of dweebs who camped on the spawn, setting up multiple sentry guns hosing anything that opened the door. Needless to say it sucked. That likely tainted my experience as well.
