DRO Gaming was founded on August 16th, 2008, it is first and foremost about having fun. Our oldest members and best leaders all agree: if it's not fun, why do it? We understand that this kind of entertainment must take a backseat to our members' personal lives and that if we don't keep it fun that they'll be wasting their valuable time by participating. With that in mind we try to create an environment that constantly provides entertainment on multiple levels. If you're a competitive gamer who goes MLG all the way, we have members that you'll fit in with. If you're a casual gamer who plays random custom/private games, we have members that you'll fit in with. If you're into any kind of gaming media, we have a place for you as well. We keep it fun by creating fun environments where members can become comfortable and content. Once we attain this, everyone becomes friends very quickly and we move on to much more important and legitimate things (including our Youtube Channels, Podcast, Gamebattles, MLG, and more). DROlympics
The DROlympics is an annual tournament unlike any other. It runs for multiple rounds on multiple days on multiple games with teams of 6 playing to win as many events as possible. The DROlympics are a celebration of DRO's official creation on Augustt 18th, 2008. The tournament ends on the 18th and the victors are awarded prizes unlike those from any other tournament. The media teams work to reward all of the winning members too, with each team donating projects to them individually. This elaborate tournament is a significant part of our long-term membership, and all members are encouraged to participate in any way the can.

Tournaments
DRO Gaming Hosts Tournaments as often as possible in order to promote intra-clan activity and add yet another fun element to our membership. The tournaments are usually hosted by clan leaders and usually are on Halo or Call of Duty. Every tournament has prizes for first place and some even have them for the top 3 spots. All members are welcome to participate and non-members sometimes have the opportunity to participate in tournaments as well. At the end of every tournament, an article is written and posted about the winning team to recognize their victory and show off the prize they won. Prizes usually consist of the winning team's media support (ranging from forum signatures to short montages) but certain tournaments offer bigger prizes ranging from Microsoft Points to Turtle Beach Headsets. Clanmatches
Sometimes DRO Gaming members or those we play against on Xbox Live wish to engage in friendly, yet intense matches. DRO Gaming fully supports the "clanmatch" scene and accepts almost every challenge that we have the ability to respond to. This means that we currently only play team clanmatches on Halo and Call of Duty. We have two teams of four on Modern Warfare 2 and the same on Halo 3, totaling four teams or 16 members awaiting your challenge. All results (including losses) will be posted on this page for the world to see. So far, we're happy with our record.

Final Strike and The Legion
Final Strike is a group of true Halo players that have remained strong fans of the series throughout the Modern Warfare 2 frenzy. We wear the "Halo Kid" banner proudly and work hard to keep the environment fun until Reach comes out. Some of our members are the oldest and most successful in all of DRO Gaming. Every day we work on new projects and sessions to keep the regiment strong. Whether you're about Goosing, MLG, Infection, or anywhere in between, you'll find a place in Final Strike.
The Legion is a fun group dedicated to the idea of having fun when playing Xbox. We're a close group of friends and act like it. For example, we'll make jokes about each other if the occasion calls for it, but we know that our friendship is too important to take these jokes seriously so we all laugh along. Anyone looking to join the Legion should have a sense of humor and know how to take a joke. We refuse to create rules that make our members act unnaturally. Besides having fun, we enjoy playing to win and have the skill and experience to take it to that level when necessary. We have no requirements for ratios or anything, we merely ask that you act maturely and listen to the advice that our more experienced players take the time to give you. We're one of DRO's most successful regiments of all time and are only going to grow from here (expect commentaries, montages, gamebattles, and more in the coming months). We play what our members like the most, but generally are centered around the Call of Duty series.
If you don't play or have one of these games in the words of Steve Urkel, "Don't fret my pet!" You can still be a part of DRO! It's just a preference to have one of those games so you'll get noticed more. ;)

DRO Designs is the first media team ever to be established in DRO Gaming. It has 3 objectives, all of which are very important to DRO's future success. The first is creating images for the forums. The members have designs needs, and the Design Team is happy to supply forum signatures, avatars, banners, logos, and more. Second, the team produces advertisement pieces that are used in different venues to attract success to the community as well as the team itself. Lastly, the team collaborates with the front page staff to create images for the front page. When the work slows down, official and prospective team members can participate in the official DRO Gaming Design of the Month competition, the victor of which has his work posted on the front page in an official article by the front page staff. The team also encourages artistic growth and improvement by providing comments and critique on any work posted in the designs showcase forum. Overall the design team provides DRO with a very unique artistic flair that simply could not be produced in any other way.

YouTube channel . We work hard to produce a diverse channel that represents the legitimate group of players that participate in DRO Gaming activities. If you have the skills needed for making montages, machinima, and commentary, then maybe you’re a good fit for our design team (note: clan membership is not mandatory for being on this team).
