Xbox Live Clans

XGL is a clan created in May 2002 by Potleg UK and we are still going strong to this day. We have played clan matches in many games over the years and we have had many clan members that have come and gone throughout the years contributing to the clans status and we have been recognised by featuring in Xbox & Xbox 360 Magazines, Online Magazines and gaming radio sites. We have also been clan of the month on various websites and magazines, this shows that we have been recognised by the Xbox Community. We will be featured in the upcoming 360 Gamer Magazine so we do look to keep making our mark for some time to come.

throughout the years XGL has been known to be a 'fun first before the win' type of clan but recently we have been more competitive and have recruited members with various skill levels. XGL has a new forum that we look to get back active on a daily basis along with plenty of new forum features to keep users on the site and we do host tournaments for players and clan based tournaments to bring more clans together and compete on varous games so we do like to do our bit for the Xbox community. XGL are a casual gaming Clan that look to play in many matches without competing a a high standard, we feel being competitive brings the worst out of any clan and ou past has been a good reminder of that, we do look to bring in more maturity to the clan so our gaming squads have various age restrictions when signing upto the clan.


XGL are recruiting members 16 and over with a 7 day clan trial period so we can find out how active you are along with how you fit in with our current crop of members. if you are under 18 we cna help you join any of our reccomended clans to get you in a well known and established clan no matter what age you are.

XGL are looking to increase the size of its memberbase and we look for new recruits to be mature, to be able to work as a team and practice tactics and training along with frequent matchmaking with the clan.

we look for all our recruits to have a microphone as communication is important in both our games and clan matches and we are an active clan playing clan matches on a weekly basis so we keep our members on their toes and they are always at hand to help you with your game.


We are now building a U.S faction to the clan starting with building a team for Gears of War 2, we have 2 U.S based players currently in the clan so we look to build upon that and recruit more U.S based gears players.
