well it does this in just about every shooter but whenever i throw a grenade and someone kills me right as I throw it, the grenade simply vanishes it sucks and loses me about 2-8 kills per match. I wonder if they'll ever fix this but its worst in halo 3

I have came to the conclusion that disappearing grenades are inevitable. When you die, if you don't wait for the killcam to finish, you can still get the kill, but if you hurry for quick respawns, they will.
It happens because when you set down a claymore, it disappears too when you RESPAWN, not DIE. I think the grenades are in the same coding as claymores, just modified. And since they don't want unlimited claymores everywhere, they make them disappear, along with the grenades.

I know what you mean, but COD 4 does a really good job in keeping everything legit. If you pull the pin on your grenade as you get shot/killed, the grenade will drop and be active.

Claymores and C4 do go away if you die in a game mode other than Search & Destroy, but it makes it more fair.

Well, they go away when you respawn =P I've had a few claymore kills while watching the kill-cam before lol. And I love how you have X-amount of seconds before the grenade actually blows up, REALLY close to that of real life. My uncle timed the grenade until it blew up and it was within .3 seconds that of a real grenade so IW did a great job in keeping it real! (don't ask me about the times lol, I have no idea. My uncle knows all this stuff because of past experiences)

I have noticed that to and it bugs me because sometimes a could get a kill with the grenade that I was going to throw.

they dissappaer on me to ill throw one like 30 feet in front of me to clear the corner but they dont blow up but most of the time they will blow up but i hate whne they dont blow up

yea that happens every game i play in halo but thats the only game iv played that its happened to me in.
